Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage and process our company’s expenses, ensure timely and accurate payments, verify invoices, and conduct account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process, verify, and post vendor invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
Compare system reports to balances, verify and resolve discrepancies in financial entries.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and best practices in accounts payable.
Verify vendor accounts, facilitate timely payments, and resolve any payment discrepancies or disputes.
Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger on a regular basis.
Maintain organised and accurate records, including preparing and reviewing GST & TDS reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
Proficiency in accounting and business management software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books).
Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
Extensive experience with account reconciliation processes.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
